Born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, Ebony Reigns was
a Ghanaian danchall artist Popularly Known for her
hit songs, "Sponsor", "Poison", "Kupe".
She was discovered by Bullet A member of a Ghanaian Music
group; Ruff & Smooth , where she was signed to.
Ebony as she was popularly known, brought so much joy
and excitement to many ghanaians and music lovers world
wide through her great sense of music and talent.
Though scrutinized by many for her choices, mainly the way
she dressed, she never felt bothered for after all who really are
you if you live or act based on the opinions of others.
To be honest, there's a lot many Ghanaians could learn from her.
Don't take this personal but many of use live double lives,
we aren't who we want to be. Based on the fact that people
are watching, but we do ugly things in the dark . Why can't
we be true to ourselves?
We don't chase our dreams. Why? could be due to fear;
fear of failure . We don't have patience. We live in a country
will a high unemployment rate. Many Graduates, very talented, keep
waiting for the "Government" to provide some kind of miracle Job for them
whilst the positions they want to occupy are already occupied by equally
qualified individuals. Why should this be?
Everyone was born with a talent so why not persue it?
Ebony Reigns persued her's to the fullest and we can all be witnesses to
her archievements. Her death is a big blow to the us all especially the Music industry.
Her memory will surely live on through her music, her life choices (whether
you agree with her or not) .
