My affair with former AIDS ambassador was a mistake – Amandzeba
According to an Asempanews.com report, the veteran musician has admitted that he once had an amorous relationship with Joyce Dzidzor when she was a member of his band years back. However, Amandzeba, has expressed regret for his secret affair with the former AIDS ambassador, but disputed claims that he slept with her when she was 17-years old.
“I slept with her when she was 20 years old and not 17 as being speculated. Yes, I had an intimate relationship with Joyce Dzidzor Mensah when she was a member of my band; I made a mistake. This could happen to any man,” the musician said. The famous singer added that he fully accept the fact that it was a big mistake to have engaged in an amorous relationship with Joyce when she at the time was seeking for his help. “I am not an angel and I have not said anywhere that I am an angel. I have made a mistake so I’m sorry,” Amandzeba said.
Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, who was former Ghana AIDS ambassador, a few days ago broke her silence over her secret affair with Amandzeba Nat Brew. Meanwhile, there are unconfirmed reports the Amandzeba's 15-year-old marriage legendary musician, Akosua Agyapong, broke down due to his secret relationship with Joyce Dzidzor.
Amandzeba, a native of Cape Coast (Oguaa), was born and bred in Accra . He was very talented in his youthful days as he mimicked very well every song he heard. His father Mr. Ato Brew had ironically named him after his own music idol, Nat King Cole Brew. Amandzeba's music upbringing was accompanied by such rigidity that he was almost left with no room to explore other God given talents, especially in the field of soccer.
