We believe Castro Still lives despite disappearing for 4 years and here's why

It is exactly four years today, July 6, 2018, since Ghanaian Hiplife musician, Castro and his friend, Janet Bandu went missing at Ada.

The two part part of a
group of friends of Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan who had gone to
party with the footballer who had returned from the Brazil 2014 World
Cup.

Castro and Janet, said to be military officer's daughter, who were on a Jet Ski reportedly disappeared riding close to the Ada estuary. Recounting the circumstances leading to Castro's disappearance Asamoah Gyan stated that it was the first time they went to Aqua Safari and that in the previous years, they went to Akosombo. That particular year, the yacht at Akosombo was broken down so they decided to go to Ada. A day before we went to Ada, he [Castro] came to my house and said he was on his way to Kumasi and would not join us.

But whilst we were on our way to Ada, on the Accra-Tema motorway, we received a phone call that “Under” [Castro] wants us to wait for him. We parked at a fuel station where a crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of me. I later got the inclination it was destined to happen because he was initially not part of the trip. When we got to Ada, everything went fine. We were to spend three days, but ended up using the Jet Ski on the second day and Castro who ended

Many are those who are of the view that Castro is not dead but has gone into hiding after a publicity stunt went wrong.

Recently, a man of God, Prophet Cosmos Affran came out to claim that Castro was not dead and was staying one of Ghana's neighbouring countries. But the Black Stars skipper who is known to have been close to Castro has stated that he.does not believe his friend is still alive. According to him, spiritual consultations they made in the aftermath of Castro’s disappearance all confirmed that the musician was no more. He is therefore inclined to believe that Castro is dead. While Gyan's position is the most beleivable of the the theories making rounds concerning the unfortuante incident, a funeral cannot be held for Castro yet.

By the laws of Ghana, Castro cannot be said to be dead yet. A missing person can only be declared dead after seven years of frantic search has proved futile. According to The Evidence Act of 1975, Section 33, 'a person can only be declared legally dead after seven years by a court, where the person in question has not been seen or heard from in seven years despite diligent and persistent efforts to find him.'

Since that time, he established himself as one of the best Hiplife artistes with back-to-back hits which got Ghanaians dancing.
