Pent Hostel fees are bound to Decrease
African Union hall (Pent) is a hostel facility found in University of Ghana; Legon.
Over the past few years, the cost of the hostel fees has been stagnant and this was feasible for students in the hostel. This year has been different.
According to a survey which was conducted recently, it was gathered that the cost of the hostel fees has increased by 10% and in fact this is very appalling. It is difficult to understand because according to the students, staying in the hostel is becoming a burden by the minute.

As part of the survey conducted, majority of the students complained about the increase in the shortages of electrical supply and also shortage of water among others. Students expected a lot more benefits from the hostel,following the increase in the hostel fees but unfortunately,things have rather taken the wrong turn.
Students are hoping for a better turn of events, “we are hoping that the administration of pentagon hostel will take into consideration our problems and our cry for help and do something about it.”

This survey was actually headed by William Danso (Grey), aspirant of African Union Hall president, concerning the many grievances of the students.Students are persistently complaining for not getting value for money.
"It is of my best interest for the student voice to be heard " he said.
